What began six years ago as a small church tradition has now blossomed into a state-wide celebration that reaches into over fourteen neighboring counties!

The Great Community Picnic, put on annually by the fine people at Family Worship Center, is more than just a meal though. Last year's event featured pony rides, tractor pulls, car shows, petting zoos, and horse races.

And did we mention that 10,000 people showed up to spend the day with the church community?

August Road got to be a small part of the festivities this last year, by designing a new web site, marketing materials and logo identity for the Great Community Picnic.
